At Carkila, we strive to build a community based on trust, safety, and mutual respect. Whether you're renting a vehicle or listing one, we expect all users to uphold these standards. Violations may result in account suspension, removal from the platform, or legal action.
1. Respectful Communication
- Treat fellow users with kindness and professionalism.
- Do not use offensive, aggressive, or discriminatory language.
- Harassment or intimidation in any form is strictly prohibited.
- Keep conversations relevant to rentals, bookings, and platform use.
2. Honesty & Transparency
- Provide accurate information in your profile, listings, and communications.
- Do not impersonate others or provide false documentation.
- Be truthful in ratings, reviews, and feedback.
- Operators must disclose material rental terms clearly (pricing, inclusions, driver rules, pickup rules).
3. Safe & Responsible Conduct
Renters must follow all traffic laws and operate vehicles safely. Vehicle owners must ensure listings are safe, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
- Illegal use of vehicles (e.g., criminal activity or smuggling) will result in an immediate ban.
- Do not encourage unsafe driving, falsify documents, or bypass legal requirements.
- Meetups should be conducted in safe, public locations where possible.
4. Zero Tolerance for Scams and Fraud
We maintain a strict policy against fraudulent activities. This includes but is not limited to:
- Posting fake or stolen vehicle listings.
- Using fake or stolen identities/documents.
- Using the platform to scam, deceive, or mislead users in any way.
- Requesting off-platform payments to avoid verification or platform safeguards.
If you attempt to scam or deceive other users:
- Your account will be permanently banned.
- You may be reported to law enforcement.
- We may pursue legal action and cooperate with relevant authorities.
- If you suspect a scam or fraudulent behavior, please report it immediately to: support.carkila@gmail.com
5. Trust and Safety
- Users may be asked to verify identity through valid ID and driver’s license submissions.
- Suspicious accounts or activity may be flagged for review or temporarily suspended.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Carkila account.
- Do not share passwords, OTPs, or sensitive verification details with anyone.
6. Discrimination-Free Environment
Carkila is a diverse community. We do not tolerate discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any protected status.
7. No Spam or Unsolicited Promotions
- Do not promote unrelated products or services through messages or vehicle listings.
- Avoid sending spam, chain messages, or advertisements.
- Repeated unsolicited messaging may result in restrictions or suspension.
8. Feedback and Conflict Resolution
- Use the ratings and review system fairly and constructively.
- For issues during a transaction, communicate respectfully with the other party.
- If resolution is not possible, contact Carkila support for assistance.
- Do not threaten, blackmail, or demand compensation through intimidation.
9. Reporting Violations
We encourage users to help keep the platform safe by reporting:
- Scams and fraud
- Abusive behavior
- Suspicious listings
- Identity misuse
- Harassment or threats
